I love brisk walks, especially by the lake and any time spent with my amazing husband, John. I am a regìstered nurse with a post-grad in pediatrics and I am ordained by Elim Pentecostal Fellowship. I am also the creator of “GET UP” Ministry to Women & Author of “Get up Study Guide: It’s Not Too Late, There’s More!”
I am from London Ontario. I love creative communication and telling stories that showcase God in a fresh way. Helping people laugh and challenging them to greatness really jazz me up like nothing else. A former Nurse Practitioner, I now am a passionate worship leader in my local church, married to an irresistible American, a mother of two mighty women presently housed in toddler bodies, an ace diaper changer, and a hit-and-miss good cook.
I’m Sarah! I love cupcakes, Coffee, My husband, Hangouts & Roadtrips. One of my favourite things has been seeing the growth of a girls organization I started; Still Beautiful. Our passion is to see girls be confident in who they were created be! We want girls to know that it doesn’t matter what they’ve struggled with or been through, those things don’t define them. We believe that girls have the power to change the world! So let’s do this! #Girlpower
I have been married to my extremely handsome Miguel, for 28 years and we have three adult sons. We established a not-for-profit organization called Light Up Your World® (LUYW) which helps people (especially students) understand the power they have to make this world a better place. LUYW is now in 4 languages, and there are LUYW teams carrying this life message to students around the world.
Petra van Weerden
After co-pastoring a church in The Netherlands with my husband for twenty years, we moved our family of 4 beautiful children to Canada last year to begin pastoring in a new country! I have a passion to help people find their identity and true peace in life. Combining my knowledge as a psychologist with my love for Christ, it’s my joy to counsel, and encourage the people that cross my path.
SHINGAI… her name means “have courage” and she is an artist who has had the courage to face the very best and worst of times with her faith. With a voice that has been described as powerful, warm and heart-stirring, SHINGAI sings from her heart, inviting others to not only to be touched but more importantly, to be filled with love, faith, and courage. God has given her a voice to awaken hearts and she is using her voice to tell not only her story but the story that many need to hear… that there is hope and life after heartache. SHINGAI is an artist, a dreamer, a mother and a messenger… from God’s heart to yours, this is SHINGAI.
I have always loved music and I want people of all ages to be inspired by my music. I go to O’Neill CVI where I am a vocal and drama major in the Performing arts program. I dream of a world where every girl knows how much they are worth and loved!
